To celebrate the launch of SBS’s new drama series, Sunshine, SBS partnered with CCP and Brimbank City Council to give people a chance to tell the story of their community through photographs. Whether they work, live or study in Sunshine, or have a strong connection to the suburb, the participants undertook a series of workshops to help prepare them to create a series for exhibition.

Across a series of three workshops, under the guidance CCP tutor, Linsey Gosper and photographers, Ben King and Atong Atem, participants developed their unique story through powerful imagery.
The Sunshine photography project exhibition will be held from 17 October—30 November, at the Brimbank Community and Civic Centre, Level 1, 301 Hampshire Road, Sunshine.
The Diploma of Photoimaging students are having their annual mid year show, entitled Seven Degrees North. This year the students have chosen to exhibit at APTE Cafe, 538 Heidelberg Road, Alphington, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The photography exhibition is open now runs until the 26th of June 2017, the cafe is open 7 days a week and entry is free.

The annual photography exhibition of our all our students is about to open.
This year we are exhibiting at Fox Gallery and Studios at 8 Elizabeth Street, Kensington.The opening night is, Thursday the 3rd of November, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The gallery hours are, Thursday, Friday, 11:0am to 6:00pm, Saturday, Sunday, 11:00am to 5:00pm.
You have to be considerate of the tones that you are photographing. Seeing the process that you need to take to get the perfectly exposed photograph on analogue probably makes you more considerate in digital.
Like Deakin University and RMIT, we offer extensive training using analogue equipment and materials.
