Hi folks, I know many of you guys use Tumblr, for your wonderful blogs & visual diaries; it seems there is some sort of problem with the service, which is a free service so hang in there, hopefully we’ll hear something from the trenches soon.
If you can’t wait that long there is another service available, called posterous.com, have a look and see what you think? I use it as a phone direct to web service and have several blogs as a consequence.
The dates for your Final folio presentation are Tuesday 16th, Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th of November @ 10am.
Bring your Visual Diary and Artist statement

A reminder that once you take equipment off the PIC campus you are wholly responsible for returning it. This means that even if the equipment is stolen from you, you are still personally and fully responsible for paying for a new replacement piece of equipment. Yes, that’s unfortunate but that’s the way it is.
So do not leave it in your car, do not leave it visible on the back seat, do not cover it with something or leave it in the boot of the car. As soon as you arrive home from school take it inside with you and don’t leave it where it can be visible from a window. ALWAYS hang onto it if you take it out.
Some of the equipment kits including lenses, pelican cases and accessories add up to quite a lot of money. For example to replace a our digital cameras kits will cost you nearly $2000.
KEEP THIS IN MIND EVERY TIME YOU BORROW A PIECE OF EQUIPMENT
