Thinking about Wedding Photography as a career? Want to build a portfolio of work up in this area? Nadia has contacted the school, and asked the following?

The wedding is on Sunday 13th March 2011 at Glendower Restaurant 2 McBride Road Upper Beaconsfield. Ceremony commences at 4:30pm. Ceremony and reception both at the same venue. I’d like, if possible, someone who is interested in candid photos (not too many posed shots).

Feel free to give anyone who is interested my email address to contact me of they want more info. [contact me, Stuart, if you are interested?]

I’m happy to pay a small fee to cover petrol if they live further away.

The 3 rooms are, “After the Fire”, the aftermath of Black Saturday in Flowerdale and Kinglake,
“The Yellow Chair” a story of neighbourliness and kindness in a Surrey Hills street,
and “Journey through Syria”, pictures of of Palmyra, Aleppo and Damascus.

Hours of the exhibition are:
Tuesday & Fridays 10 – 3
Wednesday & Thursday 9 – 5
Last Saturday of the month Noon – 4

You will need to be flexible and available weekdays at random times btw 8am – 7pm. You will often have half days or a couple of hours when needed. An enthusiastic, easy going person experienced in photography, digital retouching and office skills to join our team.

Sound retouching skills on Mac computers and Photography experience are a must.

You need to love photography of pregnancy, newborn babies, toddlers, children and families. Good people skills, phone answering, general production, photographic assisting and office administration is also required.

If you have a cheerful outlook, an ability to be organised and to get on easily with others in a small but busy high quality Northcote studio, then we want you.

We are looking for expressions of interest for a part time position (3days per week) with the possibility to go full time at our wedding and portrait studio.

The ideal candidate would have a good grasp of photoshop, be outgoing with a fun disposition, have good customer service skills and own their own car. The job would involve both weekends and week day work including assisting on weddings, proofing and retouching and general admin work.

The right person will also be trained up to become a second shooter at weddings and portraits.
