GFP Studios is a dynamic national photographic company. We are seeking a highly skilled portrait photographer to work in our Carlton and Clayton studio. This is a fast paced role with lots of variety so the successful applicant should be adaptable and be able to think on their feet.
The skills required to succeed in this role are:
- Genuine commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- The ability to photograph clients of all ages and be especially confident working with babies and young children.
- Strong sales / communication skills both over the phone and in person (no cold calling or appointment selling involved)
This is a casual position of approx 2-3 days per week, this position does include weekend work.

You must be willing to be trained in Starshots unique approach to modern studio portraiture and thrive in a hectic environment working alongside make-up artists and viewing consultants. The success of our business rests on the experience we create for each of our clients and for this reason excellent personal presentation, strong communication skills and a “can do” approach is essential! You must be able to work under pressure while providing clients with the highest level of customer service.
You should be proficient with digital studio technology, be competent in all aspects of photoshop and above all have a passion for studio portraiture. Previous studio portraiture experience and/or tertiary qualifications will be essential.
These positions entail significant weekend and some evening shifts. A motor vehicle and driver’s license is essential.
Vision Portraits is a well established family portrait fundraising company operating in schools, kinders and child care centres throughout Vic and NSW.
An opportunity has arisen in Vic for a self motivated and organised person to join our growing team of photographers.
You will be responsible for travelling to organisations around Vic. to photograph families and then return to sell additional portraits. Our office admin team is on hand to provide support, all training and equipment.
To be successful for this position you must:

- be self motivated
- be experienced in customer service
- enjoy interacting with children & families
- have your own car & license
- enjoy travelling around Vic.
- be punctual
- have basic computer knowledge
- be able to work autonomously
- be available to work weekdays and weekends from March – December.
