“The Outsider’s Guide to Melbourne in association with Aperture Studios present: the photojournalism competition Capturing Melbourne”

“Submissions to Capturing Melbourne should combine text and photography. Every story submitted to the competition should have a text of minimum 300 words and a maximum 2000 words, which should be accompanied by a minimum of 2 photographs and a maximum of 12

In this way, the submitters will have the freedom to either focus more on the photography or on the writing.

The stories can be submitted both individually and in groups and can deal with all sorts of topics, just as long as they occur within the limits of the metropolitan area of Greater Melbourne.

The best 10 stories, which will be selected by an independent jury (still to be determined), will be published in the printed version of the Outsider’s Guide to Melbourne”

Entries open 8th September 2008, and close 2nd November 2008
