Second year digital students, I have uploaded a pdf of the requirements/tasks set to date, all are due, 3rd week back. Colour management, however is the exception to this. This is due at the end of Term 3.
The remainder of the year will consist of colour Management classes; Web Design, and ‘workshops’. You must undertake, 2 of the offered workshops, to fulfill the requirements of the diploma. Dates times, subjects of the workshops will be announced shortly.

Head on Foundation invites photographers to submit images to the 2009 photographic portrait competition.
Prizes will be awarded for the best 3 images. The selection of images will be made anonymously based on the power of the photograph rather than the celebrity of the subject or photographer. Further prizes will be awarded to images selected for ‘The Critic’s Prize’ and for ‘People’s Choice’.
Finalists’ work and winners will be selected by Magnum photographer Trent Parke, Award winning Photographer Narelle Autio, Good Weekend picture editor Judith Love and Head On curator Moshe Rosenzveig. The ‘Critic’s Prize’ will be selected by the Sydney Morning Herald photography critic Robert McFarlane.
Total value of prizes is approximately $37,000.
Group 3 there will be an excursion for Art at ACCA on Friday the 27th of February. Students are to meet Gayle out the front of ACCA no later than 11.30. They need to bring a A5 notebook as this will be their gallery log book. Irene will be putting up further notices later in the week, as well as a map.

With just a few weeks to go, here’s a timeline of the remainder of the year.
Next Thursday, there will be a COMPULSORY MEETING for ALL students, 11:00am in the AV room. ALL students MUST attend, we will be discussing issues regarding the end of year exhibition, if you wish to pass the Learning Outcome associated with the end of year exhibition you must actively participate in all meetings leading up to it.
A new photo site, that runs regular photo competitions, has recently announced free entry for students, using the enter code ‘photoschool’. Go for it.
